Commonly used industrial cleaning agents are divided into: solvent-based cleaning agents and water-based cleaning agents.
1.Water and non-aqueous solvents
Dirt solvents refer to those that can peel off the dirt of the cleaning object in a dissolved or dispersed form, and have no stable and definite chemical composition.
Substances generated from new substances. It includes water and non-aqueous solvents.
(1) Water: Water exists in nature and the most important solvent. In industrial cleaning agents, water is not only the solvent of most chemical cleaning agents, but also a lot of dirt.
Solvent. In cleaning, wherever water can be used to remove dirt, non-aqueous solvents and various additives are not needed.
(2) Non-aqueous solvents: Non-aqueous solvents include hydrocarbons and halogenated hydrocarbons, alcohols, ethers, ketones, esters, phenols, etc. and their mixtures. It is mainly used to dissolve organic dirt, such as grease.
And certain organic compound scales.
2.Surfactant
It has both hydrophilic polar groups and lipophilic non-polar groups in its molecule. When it is added in a small amount, it can greatly reduce the solvent (generally
Water) surface tension and liquid interfacial tension, and has the functions of lubrication, solubilization, emulsification, dispersion and washing.
Surfactants have a variety of classification methods. They are generally classified according to their ionization state in the solvent and the ion type of the hydrophilic group. The most commonly used are anionSubsurfactants, cationic surfactants, amphoteric surfactants and nonionic surfactants, etc. The first three categories are ionic surfactants.
Surfactants have a wide range of uses in household life and industrial production cleaning.
